AI and coaching tools

I offer the use of an online coaching tool with high data security  We can work with it during the online sessions and you can use it independantly between online and in-person sessions. The use is included in the coaching price.

In case you are used to using AI in everyday life, we can figure out how to best use the AI in the coaching process.

Limits when relying on pure AI Coaches

Pure AI coaching means that there is no human involved in the coaching process. Pure AI coaching hast limits: Experience in prompt engineering is required to achieve good results; there are issues regarding discretion and data protection concerning sensitive and confidential topics, a risk of misjudgment in complex scenarios, and a lack of depth; not all tools prioritize ethical principles and transparency; and there remains a need to critically evaluate the results oneself.

General differences between AI-coaching and human coaching

The AI relys on probabilities and algorithms. The AI can be supportive for simple questions. But the AI usually does not see "the whole picture" and does not always ask the right questions. It shows its limits when it comes to more complex situations and when feelings are involved that you cannot change by cognitive reasoning and logic.

Especially when coaching questions go around human interactions it is helpful to have a real human included in the coaching process, instead of just a maschine (even thought the AI refrases feelings so it sounds as if the AI understands them). A real human has a more holistic view.

As a psychotherapist I am experienced in including more suble information like facial expression, gesture, lowering in one´s voice, breaks or also the things that have not been mentioned. All these things give important information that should be evaluated in the coaching process.

And last but not least, solutions that have been developped with a human being feel more grounded and convincing than maschine generated answers.

So I highly recommend when using AI to always include human common sense in the coaching process.

The online coaching tool (CAI ® World) I am using has been built to work with complex situations, to change attitude and feellings and generate effective solutions.
